The Junks - Irons

The Irons

are a gang of motor bikers, fans of metal music (“head-bangers”), made of iron scrap. They live near the scrap pile in the car junkyard. They ride their heavy motorized buggies and spell terror to all around them. They are totally rude, insolent and strong. They are armed to their teeth with scissors, razor blades and drills.

The Iron’s detest water, and they are afraid of it because it brings rust. Their bar – den is in a busted VW Beetle engine compartment. There they listen to Iron Maiden and Metallica, noisily drinking and getting drunk on engine oil – “Hey, give me a Shell and a double Texaco!” - and then they have arm-wrestling matches.
